Tank sealer
« on: October 09, 2017, 09:15:50 AM »
I have a few pinholes on my tank which I've now sealed. I want to coat the inside of the tank now , any suggestions what to use. I was looking at por 15 but the postage is more than the product to get sent to northern Ireland. Anything I can buy here which will do a good job. Thanks .....Davy..... 🚵

To be honest, I wouldn't bother - especially with the injection model!

If you have fixed the pinholes properly, it should last a while - just keep an eye out for a replacement tank.

Thanks t2bc. I was thinking about a 2nd hand tank but the closest I've seen is about 80 miles away .a lot of the holes were underneath the silver part under the tank. I didn't even know they were there till I stripped it all off. I'd be worried about buying someone else's problems.  Better the devil u know. Thanks again for the reply. .....Davy.....     🚵 p.s. its a 2004 carb model.
